To buy Shiba Inu (SHIB), you need an app that trades on Ethereum and SHIB’s contract address, which starts with 0x95ad and ends with c4ce. Buy SHIB in a Phantom wallet

Send ETH to your Phantom Ethereum address from an exchange, on the Ethereum network. Check the contract address

SHIB has one main contract, on Ethereum, and a bridged version on Shibarium. We could not open shib.io today, so the Ethereum address below comes from two independent sources.

Check the address, not the ticker. A SHIB token went live on Solana through Sunrise on 4 October 2026, and the Shiba Inu X account confirmed it. On the same day, seven other Solana tokens used the SHIB ticker (Solana Compass (opens in a new tab)). Risks

These incidents affect SHIB holders, mainly on Shibarium:

• Shibarium bridge exploit: on 12 September 2025, an attacker drained about 4.1 million USD in ETH, SHIB and 15 other tokens from the Shibarium bridge. The team rotated all validator keys and said that refund plans were in development (The Block (opens in a new tab)).
• Staking under maintenance: the SHIB status page lists Shibarium validator staking as unavailable since 17 April 2026, during an infrastructure migration. Two ShibaSwap reward delays are also open (SHIB status page (opens in a new tab)).
• Copycat tokens: a token with the SHIB name but another address is not SHIB, and it can be a scam. Read how a rug pull works.
