GMGN copy trading: set up a copy trade in 5 steps

To set up GMGN copy trading, log in with Telegram and click Copy Trade on a wallet’s page, or pick a wallet under Copy Trade, then Rank. Next, set how the task buys, sells and filters tokens.    Log in with Telegram

   On the GMGN website, click Connect at the top right, then Connect Telegram and Open Telegram. The @gmgnaibot bot sends a login link: click Login Website. Each link works once (TG Wallet docs (opens in a new tab)). Add SOL under Wallet Manager, then Deposit.

   Open Copy Trade for a wallet

   Open the wallet’s page and click Copy Trade, or go to Copy Trade, then Rank, and pick a wallet. Click Create Copy Trade (Copy Trade docs (opens in a new tab)).

   Choose the buy and sell method

   For buys, pick Fixed buy (the same amount every time) or Maximum follow-buy (the target’s amount, up to your cap). For sells, pick Automatic follow-up selling (you sell the share the target sells), No follow-up selling, or Take profit and stop loss (one rule or a batch). With TP/SL on, your copy ignores the target’s sells. Then set the priority fee, Anti-MEV and slippage (Copy Trade settings docs (opens in a new tab)).

   Add the filters

   In the advanced settings, limit the market cap, liquidity and token age. Set a minimum and maximum copy amount, cap repeat buys of one token, filter by launch platform and blacklist up to 20 tokens. A maximum copy amount skips a huge buy that pumps a token before a rug pull (advanced settings docs (opens in a new tab)).

   Check the copy orders

   The Copy Trade tab lists your current and past tasks. Click a task to see its stats, every copied buy and sell, and each failed copy with its reason (Copy Trade docs (opens in a new tab)).

• Fees add up fast. Each copy costs the trade amount, the priority fee and the 1% GMGN fee: 0.01 SOL on a 1 SOL trade (fees docs (opens in a new tab)). Per the Copy Trade docs (opens in a new tab), a high priority fee turns many profitable copies into net losses. Anti-MEV needs a priority fee of at least 0.002 SOL.
• Failed copies stop the task. GMGN retries a failed buy or sell 1 to 3 times, by error type; after that, you trade by hand. After 3 failed copies in a row, it pauses the task. For a missed buy, check your filters first (notice (opens in a new tab)).
• Lightning Mode trades safety for speed. It is about 2 seconds faster, but it reads unconfirmed chain data. It can copy a trade that never lands, in extreme cases repeat a trade, or miss an auto sell (Lightning Mode (opens in a new tab)).
• You cannot take the key out. GMGN wallets cannot export the private key on any chain (TG Wallet docs (opens in a new tab)). Keep only trading money there, and read how to choose a wallet to copy.
