Key takeaways
- To withdraw from GMGN, use the GMGN website: bind Google Authenticator, add a whitelist address, then send funds from Deposit/Withdraw. The Telegram bot cannot withdraw.
- GMGN blocks withdrawals for 3 hours after you first set or change a whitelist address, and for 24 hours after you re-bind Google Authenticator, per its wallet docs.
- GMGN prohibits private key export on all chains, so a withdrawal is the only way out. BasedBot withdraws inside its Telegram bot and exports the key in its web app.

To withdraw from GMGN, use the GMGN website, because the Telegram bot cannot withdraw. Bind Google Authenticator, add a whitelist address, wait 3 hours, then send your funds from the Deposit/Withdraw page. GMGN does not let you export the private key, so a withdrawal is the only way to move funds out. Our GMGN review covers the fees and the safety record.
Step by step
Steps checked October 14, 2026 against the official docs. Locke has traded on GMGN for months, but the labels below come from the docs, not from memory.
- 1
Open the GMGN website
Tap Withdraw in the GMGN bot. It sends you to the GMGN site, because withdrawals moved to the website, per the GMGN withdrawal docs (opens in a new tab). If the site asks you to log in, click Connect in the upper right corner, then Connect Telegram, and open the login link that the GMGN bot sends you (multi-wallet guide (opens in a new tab)). This logs you in with the TG wallet that the bot uses. - 2
Bind Google Authenticator
Click Security in the upper right corner of the site. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator and enter the code it shows. Withdrawals stay locked until you do this, per the GMGN 2FA docs (opens in a new tab). - 3
Add a whitelist address
Click Deposit/Withdraw in the upper right corner, then set the whitelist address in the upper right corner of that page. GMGN sends withdrawals only to whitelisted addresses, and the first setup starts a 3-hour hold (withdrawal docs (opens in a new tab)). Copy the address from your own wallet and check it twice. - 4
Withdraw after the hold
Open Deposit/Withdraw again. On Solana, the page uses your main wallet by default; for another wallet, use the Wallet Manager page (multi-wallet guide (opens in a new tab)). Send the funds to your whitelisted address. The docs do not show the form fields, so check in app.
Good to know
| Event | Withdrawal hold |
|---|---|
| First whitelist setup | 3 hours |
| Change of the whitelist address | 3 hours |
| Google Authenticator re-binding | 24 hours |

- Max is not everything: each wallet keeps a minimum balance for data storage and transfer gas, so Max does not send the full balance (GMGN withdrawal docs (opens in a new tab)).
- Meme coins: on Solana, Consolidate and Distribution on the Wallet Manager page move SOL and meme coins to another address. Both need 2FA and list only tokens worth more than 10 USDT, per the GMGN transfer docs (opens in a new tab).
- Fees: the withdrawal docs list no GMGN fee for a withdrawal, but gas comes out of the wallet. If you sell a coin first, the sale costs GMGN’s 1% trade fee plus the on-chain fees: gas, priority fee and tip (fee docs (opens in a new tab)).
- 2FA safety: GMGN suggests “Use Authenticator without an account” in Google Authenticator. This turns off cloud sync, so a hacked Google account does not expose your codes (GMGN 2FA docs (opens in a new tab)).
Better tool for this task
Locke works with BasedBot; it is scored with the same methodology. BasedBot withdraws inside the Telegram bot: type /wallet, tap Withdraw, choose the network, enter the address and the amount, then confirm (BasedBot wallet guide (opens in a new tab)).
BasedBot also lets you export the key. In the web app at basedbot.app, open Portfolio, then the Wallets panel, tap a wallet and use Export Key (BasedBot Portfolio docs (opens in a new tab)). GMGN forbids key export and, for the security of funds, needs 2FA, a whitelist and a hold before a withdrawal. Our private key export guide shows which tools allow export. See our BasedBot review for the full score, or compare other bots in our best Telegram trading bots list.
Bottom line
You withdraw from GMGN on the website only: Google Authenticator first, then a whitelist address, then a 3-hour wait before the first transfer. GMGN never gives you the key, so keep only trading money there. New to GMGN? Our GMGN referral code page shows how to sign up, and the GMGN review has the full verdict.
