Research review: based on official docs and public data. Our hands-on test is pending, and this page will be updated after it.
Our verdict
Is it safe? Mostly, with one caveat. The wallet is non-custodial and you can export your seed phrase, but in February 2026 an investigator alleged that staff misused internal tools to look up user wallets.
Best for: Solana-first traders who want a fast web terminal with discovery tools, wallet tracking and perps in one place

What we like
- Volume tiers lower the net fee from 0.95% to 0.75%, plus SOL cashback
- 10% off trading fees when you sign up with a referral link
- Non-custodial wallet (Turnkey) with a seed phrase you can view and import elsewhere
- Broad toolset: Pulse, limit orders, migration actions, wallet and X tracking, Hyperliquid perps
- Adjustable MEV protection, priority fee and bribe settings
What we don't like
- February 2026 allegation that staff abused internal tools to view user wallet data
- The official docs describe only a web terminal, not a Telegram bot
- Fewer chains than multi-chain bots: the referral docs list Solana, BSC and Ethereum
Axiom in one paragraph
Axiom is a web trading terminal for memecoins and new tokens. Its docs describe one-click buys and sells, migration tools, X (Twitter) monitoring, wallet tracking and limit orders. According to The Block, Axiom was founded in 2024 by "Mist" and "Cal" and was in Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch. Axiom's referral docs list Solana, BSC and Ethereum, and the terminal also offers perps through Hyperliquid.
Fees
Axiom uses volume tiers. The more you trade, the higher your tier, the lower your net fee and the higher your SOL cashback. Source: Axiom fees.
| Tier | Net fee | Cashback |
|---|---|---|
| Wood | 0.95% | 0.05% |
| Bronze | 0.90% | 0.10% |
| Silver | 0.875% | 0.125% |
| Gold | 0.85% | 0.15% |
| Platinum | 0.825% | 0.175% |
| Diamond | 0.80% | 0.20% |
| Champion | 0.75% | 0.25% |
- With a referral link: Axiom's referral program page says new users get a 10% discount on trading fees. Check the exact fee in the app after you sign up.
- Network costs: on Solana you also pay a priority fee and a bribe (both default to 0.001 SOL in the settings), according to Axiom's Solana fees page.
Safety and incidents
- Custody: Axiom's FAQ says it uses non-custodial infrastructure and names Turnkey as its wallet infrastructure partner.
- Key export: the sign-up guide shows your seed phrase during onboarding and lets you view it later in Settings. Axiom recommends that you import it into Phantom, Rabby or Solflare, so you keep access outside Axiom.
- MEV protection: you can choose Off, Reduced or Secure. Axiom recommends Secure, which can be slower.
- February 2026 insider data allegation: on 26 February 2026, investigator ZachXBT alleged that multiple Axiom employees took part in insider trading. He named a senior business development employee who, he said, used internal customer support tools to look up user wallets and track private wallet activity since early 2025. He said that it is difficult to confirm specific insider trades without Axiom's internal logs. Axiom said it was "shocked and disappointed", removed access to those tools and promised to investigate. Sources: Decrypt, The Block.
- Follow-up: we found no public report of the result of Axiom's internal investigation.
- Hacks: we found no report of a hack or exploit that drained user funds.
What this means for you: your funds stay in a wallet you control, but the case showed that staff could link wallets to users. If wallet privacy matters to you, keep that in mind.
Features (from the docs)
- Finding tokens: Explore, Pulse and Similar Tokens views for new launches.
- Trading: market orders, limit orders, instant trade, convert and migration actions (buy or sell when a token migrates).
- Tracking: wallet tracking, a tweet monitor, an X preview popup and Trader Scan.
- Multi-wallet: trade from more than one wallet.
- Perps: long or short with leverage on Hyperliquid, from the Perpetuals tab.
- Staking: stake SOL with Axiom's validator, or get axiSOL on the website (5% fee on earnings, 0.1% on withdrawals), according to the staking page.
- Rewards: fee cashback and a points system.
Where other tools are better
- More chains, including Base: Axiom's docs list Solana, BSC and Ethereum. If you also trade on Base or other chains, a multi-chain bot like BasedBot covers more networks in one place. See the BasedBot review.
- Trading from Telegram: Axiom's docs describe a web terminal. If you prefer to trade inside Telegram, a Telegram bot fits better.
- Lowest fee at low volume: the 0.95% entry fee only drops with volume. Small traders stay near the top of the fee table.
