Why people look for Axiom alternatives

Axiom is a good Solana web trading terminal. We score it 4.0/5 in our Axiom review. But four points push some traders to look elsewhere.

1. Fees that drop only with volume

Axiom's fee table starts at a 0.95% net fee (Wood tier) and reaches 0.75% only at the top Champion tier. A referral link gives 10% off, per the referral docs. Small traders stay near the top of the table. Solana priority fees and bribes are extra.

2. The February 2026 insider data allegation

On 26 February 2026, investigator ZachXBT alleged that Axiom employees misused internal support tools to look up user wallets and track private wallet activity. Axiom said it removed access to those tools and promised to investigate, according to Decrypt and The Block. We found no public result of that investigation. The case is about data access, not a hack: we found no exploit that drained user funds.

3. Web only

Axiom's docs describe a web platform and mention no Telegram bot. If you trade from your phone in Telegram, a Telegram trading bot fits better.

4. Three chains

Axiom's referral docs list Solana, BSC and Ethereum, plus perps through Hyperliquid. There is no Base, Arbitrum or Avalanche in that list.

What each alternative does better than Axiom

BasedBot: more chains, Telegram and cashback

  • Chains: Base, Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Robinhood Chain, Arc and more, from one bot.
  • Format: Telegram bot plus a web app at basedbot.app.
  • Fees: 1% with 10–50% cashback through our link, so 0.5–0.9% effective. That is below Axiom's 0.95% entry tier at every cashback level. With Axiom's 10% referral discount, its entry tier falls to about 0.85%, so BasedBot is cheaper from 20% cashback up.
  • Custody: self-custody. Export the bot wallet's key or import your own wallet.
  • Tested: buys confirmed in under one second on average in our hands-on tests.
  • Where Axiom stays better: a richer chart-first web workspace for Solana.

Open BasedBot with double cashback

Trojan: an Axiom-style terminal plus a Telegram bot

  • Format: a web terminal at trojan.com and a Telegram bot from the same team, per the Trojan docs.
  • Fees: 1% per trade, with SOL cashback from 10% to 35% by Arena rank on the terminal (ranks and rewards) and 20% in the bot (bot FAQ). That is about 0.65–0.9% effective.
  • Custody: non-custodial with key export per wallet, per the wallet docs.
  • Safety record: we found no public report of a hack of Trojan itself.
  • Where Axiom stays better: more chains. Trojan is Solana only for spot trades.

Full details: Trojan review and Trojan referral code.

Fomo: the simplest mobile start

  • Format: iOS, Android and web app, funded with Apple Pay, per fomo.family.
  • Fees: about 0.5% per trade with a $0.95 minimum on Solana, and Fomo pays the gas, per TechCrunch. Our link gives 10% off fees, according to Fomo's in-app invite message.
  • Chains: Solana, Base and BNB Chain from one balance, without bridges.
  • Custody: Fomo's terms say Privy generates a non-custodial wallet and you can export your private keys.
  • Caution: in August 2026 an X account alleged about $6M in iOS losses. Fomo denied it, and Protos found no independent proof of an exploit.
  • Where Axiom stays better: limit orders, migration actions and MEV settings. Fomo's public pages do not describe them.

Full details: Fomo review, Fomo referral code and Axiom vs Fomo.

GMGN: wallet tracking and bots on five chains

  • Chains: Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Tron, per the official bot list.
  • Format: web terminal at gmgn.ai plus official Telegram bots per chain.
  • Tools: copy trading, auto buy and sell, trailing stops, sniping and wallet tracking.
  • Fees: 1% per trade, per the GMGN fees page. That is more than Axiom's entry tier.
  • Caution: the wallet docs say private key export is prohibited on all chains. Axiom lets you view your seed phrase.
  • Where Axiom stays better: fees and key control.

How to switch from Axiom

You have two options. A new wallet is the safer one.

  1. 1

Choose new wallet or seed import

A new wallet keeps your old Axiom seed separate. If you prefer to keep one wallet, view your seed phrase in Axiom's Settings, as the sign-up guide describes.
  2. 2

    Withdraw or import

For a new wallet, withdraw your SOL from Axiom to a wallet you control, such as Phantom. For a seed import, Axiom recommends Phantom, Rabby or Solflare.
  3. 3

Open the new tool from an official link

Use our official links. Fake bots and fake support accounts are common.
  4. 4

Create the wallet and save the key offline

On BasedBot, Trojan and Fomo, export the key and store it offline. On GMGN, set 2FA and a withdrawal whitelist instead, because you cannot export the key.
  5. 5

Fund a small amount and check the fee

Send a small amount first. Check the fee and the cashback or discount on your first trade. Our fee calculator shows the cost per trade.
