Key takeaways
- BasedBot is the best Twitter tracker for crypto on our scores (4.6), ahead of Trojan (4.1), Axiom (4.0) and GMGN (3.5); all four show a live X feed next to a buy button.
- Only two of the four let a tweet trigger a buy: BasedBot’s Social Copytrading (X, Zora, Warpcast) and GMGN’s SnipeX (Solana only, max 10 tasks, each 7 days).
- GMGN has the biggest ready-made KOL list, with 2,000+ curated X accounts, but you can add only 5 accounts that are not in its Top Subscriptions list.
- Axiom’s Tweet Monitor is free once you have 5 SOL of trading volume on Axiom, per its docs; the other three include their X tracker with the trading tool.
- Hacked accounts post fake contract addresses: Jupiter’s X account promoted a scam memecoin in February 2025, so never auto-buy from accounts that rarely post tokens.

The full ranking
#1 BasedBot Our pick Best for pros
Best for: Traders who want an X tracker, a wallet tracker and auto-buys from tweets in one tool on 18 chains
4.6/5
Web app Trackers page: X Tracker with your own handles, an Only CA filter, toast and sound alerts, next to a wallet tracker. Monitor tab joins wallet and X signals. Telegram bot: Social Copytrading on X, Zora and Warpcast. 1% fee, 10–50% cashback with our link.
Why it’s #1
BasedBot puts an X Tracker and a wallet tracker side by side in its web app. You add your own X handles, filter the feed to tweets with a contract address (Only CA), and get toast and sound alerts. A Monitor tab shows tokens that several tracked wallets or X accounts touch. In the Telegram bot, Social Copytrading buys a token when an account you follow on X, Zora or Warpcast posts it. BasedBot supports 18 chains. Locke works with BasedBot; it is scored with the same methodology.
What we like
- 18 chains in one Telegram bot and web trading terminal, including Base, Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Avalanche
- Full automation set: limit orders, TP/SL with a trailing stop, dev sell, DCA, copy trading, social copy trading and three sniper types
What we don’t like
- The 1% base fee is the market standard, and a new trader gets only 5% of it back (10% with code START)
- In the Telegram bot, MEV protection covers only Ethereum, Base and BSC, and the classic Sniper works only on EVM chains
- Trading fee
- 1%
Double cashback (10–50% of fees instead of 5–25%) · Referral code: START

#2 Trojan
Best for: Solana traders who want a live X feed docked next to the chart, with one-click trade pages from a contract address
4.1/5
X Tracker in the trojan.com web terminal: cashtags and contract addresses are highlighted, a click opens the trade page. Docked, floating or in a new window. Settings for sounds, account toggles, replies, reposts, quotes and Truth Social posts. Solana only, 1% fee.
What we like
- Two ways to trade: the web terminal at trojan.com and the Telegram bot
- Cashback in SOL on every trade, which lowers the 1% fee
What we don’t like
- Solana only for spot trading
- The 1% base fee is the market standard, not cheap, before cashback
- Trading fee
- 1%

#3 Axiom
Best for: Solana traders on Axiom who want a free tweet monitor and a tweet preview inside Pulse
4.0/5
Tweet Monitor scans key crypto X accounts in real time and is free once you have 5 SOL of trading volume. You can add your own handles and set the alerts. A Twitter preview popup in Pulse shows the tweet behind a token. 0.95% to 0.75% fee, 10% off with our code.
What we like
- Volume tiers lower the net fee from 0.95% to 0.75%, plus SOL cashback
- 10% off trading fees when you sign up with a referral link
What we don’t like
- February 2026 allegation that staff abused internal tools to view user wallet data
- The official docs describe only a web terminal, not a Telegram bot or a mobile app
- Trading fee
- 0.95%
10% off trading fees · Referral code: gurumeme

#4 GMGN
Best for: Solana traders who want a large ready-made list of KOL accounts and auto-buys from tweets
3.5/5
X Tracker with 2,000+ curated accounts (Master, Trader, KOL), five event types including bio updates, a CA/Token filter and Quick Buy. SnipeX auto-buys a contract that a tracked account posts (Solana, Telegram wallet, whitelist). 1% fee.
What we like
- One platform for Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Tron
- Web terminal plus official Telegram bots on each chain
What we don’t like
- No private key export: the docs say export is prohibited on all chains
- 1% fee per trade, and the docs publish no discount for new users
- Trading fee
- 1%

Alternative: Axiom review
The best Twitter tracker for crypto, on our scores, is BasedBot (4.6), followed by Trojan (4.1), Axiom (4.0) and GMGN (3.5). A Twitter tracker, or X tracker, is a live feed of posts from the X accounts you choose, with the contract addresses in each post ready to open and buy. If you want the biggest ready-made list of KOL accounts, pick GMGN.
BasedBot leads because its X Tracker sits next to a wallet tracker, and its Telegram bot can buy a token the moment a followed account posts it. See the BasedBot review for fees and safety.
Crypto Twitter trackers at a glance
The four trackers do the same basic job: they show posts from crypto accounts in real time, next to a buy button. They differ in who picks the accounts, how you filter the feed and whether a tweet can trigger a buy.
| Tool | Accounts in the feed | Add your own handles | Contract address filter | Alerts | Auto-buy from a post |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BasedBot | The handles you add | Yes (Manage) | Yes (Only CA) | Toast and sound | Yes: Social Copytrading on X, Zora, Warpcast |
| Trojan | Accounts picked by Trojan, with toggles | Check in app | Highlights CAs and cashtags | Sound | No |
| Axiom | Key crypto accounts plus your own | Yes | Check in app | Custom notifications | No |
| GMGN | 2,000+ curated accounts plus your own | Yes, 5 outside Top Subscriptions | Yes (CA/Token) | Check in app | Yes: SnipeX, Solana only |

BasedBot
The web app has a Trackers page with two panels: a wallet tracker on the left and an X Tracker on the right, per the Trackers docs (opens in a new tab). You can expand either panel to full width. The X Tracker shows a live feed of tweets from the handles you track, and Manage adds or removes handles.
Four filters shape the feed: Followed, All, Only Replies and Only CA. Only CA shows just the tweets that contain a contract address, which cuts most of the noise. The X Tracker settings turn toast alerts and sound alerts on or off. The docs list Telegram alerts for tracked wallets, not for tweets.
The Monitor tab joins both signals: it shows tokens that several tracked wallets or X accounts interact with. In the Telegram bot, Social Copytrading (opens in a new tab) (open it with /automations) buys a token when an account you follow on X, Zora or Warpcast posts it. You set a separate amount for ETH, BNB and SOL. The Social Search (opens in a new tab) button shows who talks about a token on X and Farcaster.
Trojan
Trojan’s X Tracker (opens in a new tab) lives in the web terminal at trojan.com. The docs say it shows content that could move the market: token mentions, political news and viral posts. Updates appear in real time.
Cashtags and contract addresses are highlighted in the feed. Click a cashtag to search for it in Trojan, or a contract address to open its trade page in the terminal. You can dock the tracker on the left or right, float it anywhere on the screen, or open it in a new browser window.
The settings cover alert sounds, account toggles, and whether to include comments, reposts, quote tweets and Truth Social posts. The docs do not say that you can add your own handles, so check in app. Trojan trades on Solana only, with a 1% fee per its terminal FAQ (opens in a new tab).
Axiom
Axiom’s Tweet Monitor (opens in a new tab) scans key crypto X accounts in real time. The docs say every Axiom user can use it for free once they have at least 5 SOL of trading volume. The same page shows a Custom Twitter Tracker where you add your own handles and choose which notifications you get.
The Twitter Preview Popup (opens in a new tab) shows the tweet behind a token inside Pulse, so you can read the narrative before you buy. It works for tweets, not for X profile links. Axiom has no documented auto-buy from tweets. Its fee is 0.95%, down to 0.75% with volume, per the fee table (opens in a new tab), and our Axiom referral code takes 10% off.
GMGN
GMGN’s X Tracker (opens in a new tab) starts with more than 2,000 curated accounts, sorted as Master, Trader and KOL. It tracks five events: tweets, replies, retweets, quotes and bio updates. With the CA/Token filter on, only tweets that contain a contract address show. Quick Buy puts a buy button for a set SOL amount next to each detected contract.
You add accounts to your Mine list with Customize. Accounts in GMGN’s Top Subscriptions list have no limit, but you can add only 5 accounts that are not in it.
SnipeX (opens in a new tab) turns a tracked account into an auto-buy. When the account posts, replies, reposts or updates its profile with a token contract, GMGN buys it with your settings: market cap, liquidity, age and burnt ratio limits, and take profit and stop loss. The limits are strict: Solana only, Telegram wallet users only, a whitelist on the web, at most 10 tasks at a time and 7 days per task.
How a Twitter tracker works
Memecoin trends often start with one post. A Twitter tracker cuts the time between that post and your buy. Here is the usual flow in all four tools.
- 1
Pick the accounts
Add the X handles you want to watch, or start from the tool’s own list. GMGN has 2,000+ curated accounts; BasedBot starts from the handles you add.
- 2
Filter the feed
Turn on the contract address filter (Only CA in BasedBot, CA/Token in GMGN) so you see only posts with a token. Choose whether replies, reposts and quotes count.
- 3
Get the alert
A new post shows in the feed with a sound or an on-screen alert. The tool highlights the contract address or the cashtag in the post.
- 4
Check the token
Open the token page from the post. Read the holders, the liquidity and the dev wallet before you buy. Our rug checker guide lists the checks.
- 5
Buy by hand or let the tool buy
Buy from the feed with Quick Buy or the trade page. In BasedBot and GMGN you can also let the tool buy for you when a followed account posts a token.
Auto-buys from posts work like sniping: the speed helps you, but the tool buys before you can check anything. See our best sniper bots for the settings that limit the damage.
How to choose a crypto Twitter tracker
1. Your own accounts or a ready-made list
A useful X tracker follows the accounts that move the coins you trade. If you know your list, you need a tool that lets you add any handle without a low cap. If you are new, a curated list saves time.
BasedBot and Axiom let you add your own handles. GMGN gives you 2,000+ curated accounts but caps extra accounts at 5. Best on this criterion: BasedBot for your own list, GMGN for a ready-made list.
2. A contract address filter
Most tweets from crypto accounts do not contain a token. A filter that shows only posts with a contract address turns a noisy feed into a buy list. BasedBot (Only CA) and GMGN (CA/Token) document this filter. Trojan highlights contract addresses and cashtags in every post. Best on this criterion: BasedBot and GMGN.
3. Alerts you can hear
You cannot watch a feed all day. Sound and on-screen alerts tell you when a tracked account posts. BasedBot has toast and sound alerts for the X Tracker, and Trojan has alert sounds. Axiom lets you customize notifications. Best on this criterion: BasedBot.
4. Auto-buy from a post
An auto-buy is the fastest way to act on a tweet and the riskiest. BasedBot’s Social Copytrading covers X, Zora and Warpcast with a set amount per chain. GMGN’s SnipeX adds market cap, liquidity and age limits, but runs on Solana only and needs a whitelist. Best on this criterion: BasedBot for chains, GMGN for buy filters.
5. Chains and fees
An X tracker only helps if the tool trades the chain the post is about. Trojan trades on Solana only, and Axiom on Solana, BNB Chain and Ethereum. BasedBot trades on 18 chains, and GMGN on Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Tron. Fees are 1% on BasedBot, Trojan and GMGN, and 0.95% to 0.75% on Axiom.
Our links lower the cost on two of them: 10–50% cashback on BasedBot (from our partner terms; the public tiers are 5–25% on the rewards page (opens in a new tab)) and 10% off on Axiom. Compare all codes on the referral codes page. Best on this criterion: BasedBot.
KOL trackers: tweets or wallets
“KOL tracker” means two different tools. A tweet tracker shows what a crypto KOL posts. A wallet tracker shows what the KOL buys and sells on-chain. The second one is often more useful, because a post can come after the KOL already bought.
- GMGN does both. Its X Tracker has a KOL category, and its wallet monitoring (opens in a new tab) follows smart money and KOL wallets in real time, with nicknames and batch import.
- BasedBot puts both on one page. The Trackers page shows the wallet tracker and the X Tracker in split view, and the Monitor tab shows tokens that both your wallets and your X accounts touch.
- Kolscan is a KOL wallet leaderboard for Solana. The Solana Tracker docs (opens in a new tab) show its leaderboard of KOL wallets by PnL, volume and active days, and offer the same data through an API that needs a key.
If you want to copy a KOL’s trades and not only watch them, read our best copy trading bots list first.
Other X and KOL trackers (not ranked)
We have no deal with these tools, or they have no X tracker in their docs, so they are not in the ranking.
- 1322 is a standalone X monitor for bots and trading desks, with its own pricing. It streams posts from the accounts you choose over WebSocket, and its KOL tracking page (opens in a new tab) claims a typical 150–250 ms from post to delivery. It also covers TikTok and Binance Square. It does not trade for you.
- Photon, Terminal (Padre), BONKbot, Banana Gun, Maestro and Fomo have no X tracker in their official docs that we could find on 24 October 2026. Photon’s Memescope filters tokens by socials, which is not a tweet feed.
- The pump.fun app has no X tracker either. It has its own caller feed: you follow top callers and friends, see their callouts and climb a leaderboard, per our pump.fun review. It is our Best overall memecoin app (4.7) for phone traders.
Twitter tracker safety
A Twitter tracker makes you faster. It does not make the post true. These cases show how a tracked account can send you to a bad token:
- Hacked big accounts. On 5 February 2025, Jupiter’s main X account was hacked and promoted a scam memecoin, $MEOW, and then $DCOIN, per The Block (opens in a new tab). Several users reported losses.
- Fast rugs after a hacked post. In October 2024, a hacked account of the Truth Terminal founder posted the IB token. It reached about 25 million USD, and the deployer sold all of it within 45 minutes for a profit of about 602,500 USD, per Cointelegraph (opens in a new tab).
- Paid calls. Many KOLs get tokens or a discounted “KOL round” before they post, per CoinDesk (opens in a new tab). Their followers can become their exit liquidity.
- Auto-buys copy every mistake. Social Copytrading and SnipeX buy whatever a followed account posts. A hacked account means an instant buy of a fake token.

Bottom line
BasedBot is the best Twitter tracker for crypto on our scores (4.6): an X Tracker with your own handles and an Only CA filter next to a wallet tracker, plus auto-buys from X, Zora and Warpcast posts on 18 chains. If you want a large ready-made KOL list on Solana, GMGN is the strongest alternative.
