BasedBot
Our pickBest for: Pump.fun traders who also want to follow the meta to Base, BNB Chain and other chains
4.6/5
Pump.Fun and PumpSwap routes on Solana, Dev Sell, limit orders by market cap and a bonding-curve feed in the web app. 1% fee with 10–50% cashback through our link. Locke works with BasedBot; it is scored with the same methodology.
Why it’s #1
BasedBot trades pump.fun coins through its Pump.Fun and PumpSwap routes, from a Telegram bot or a web app with a live feed of bonding-curve tokens. It is the only tool here that also lists 16 networks, so when the memecoin meta moves to Base or BNB Chain you keep the same bot and wallet setup. It is self-custody with key export. The fee is 1%, and our link gives 10–50% cashback, so the effective fee is 0.5–0.9%. Locke works with BasedBot; it is scored with the same methodology.

What a pump.fun bot does
A pump.fun bot is a Telegram trading bot or a web trading terminal that buys pump.fun coins for you, faster than the pump.fun site. It holds a wallet, so it signs the swap without a wallet pop-up. A pump.fun coin trades in two stages, and the tools help in different ways at each stage:
- On the bonding curve: the coin is new and trades on pump.fun itself. Bots help you find it early (BasedBot Pulse, Axiom Pulse, Photon Memescope, Padre and Trojan Trenches) and buy it in one tap.
- At graduation: the curve fills and the coin moves to PumpSwap. Migration tools (Trojan Migration Sniper, Axiom Migration Actions, GMGN Migrated Snipe) buy or sell at that moment.
- After graduation: the coin trades like a normal token. Limit orders, take profit, stop loss and copy trading do most of the work.
For the full launch-to-graduation process and pump.fun's own fee table, read our pump.fun guide. This page compares only the tools.
How to buy pump.fun coins with BasedBot
These steps come from the BasedBot setup guide (opens in a new tab) and the buying tokens page (opens in a new tab). The docs say the bot detects the chain from the address you paste, so you do not pick Solana first (multi-chain page (opens in a new tab)).
- 1
Open the official bot
Open BasedBot through our link to get double cashback, or search @based_eth_bot in Telegram. Type /start to open the main menu. - 2
Fund the wallet with SOL
Tap the wallet address to copy it, and send SOL to it. Send a small amount first and check that it arrives. You can also import your own wallet with its private key (wallet docs (opens in a new tab)). - 3
Paste the pump.fun coin's contract address
Copy the contract address from the creator's official post, not from a reply. Paste it into the bot to open the token monitor. - 4
Set slippage and buy
Check Slip (slippage) and Impact, then tap a preset amount or "Buy X SOL" for a custom amount. Change your presets in /settings. - 5
Set your exit before the coin moves
On the monitor, turn on Take Profit and Stop Loss, and Dev Sell if you want to sell 100% when the developer sells (Dev Sell docs (opens in a new tab)). Sell later from /manage.
If you want speed, turn on Quick Buy in /settings: a pasted contract address then buys at once with your set amount (settings docs (opens in a new tab)). Use it only with a small amount, because it skips the look before you buy. On the web app at basedbot.app, Pulse (opens in a new tab) shows new launches and bonding-curve tokens with a progress indicator, and the token page (opens in a new tab) shows Dev Holding %, Snipers, Insiders and Bundlers before you buy.

Pump.fun sniper: what each tool can do
Sniping on pump.fun means two different things: buying a coin in its first seconds on the bonding curve, or buying at the moment it graduates. The tools cover these cases differently.
- BasedBot: the classic Sniper (opens in a new tab) works on EVM chains only. The Custom Sniper (opens in a new tab) watches new token creations and filters by name, launchpad, chain and creator address; check in the app which Solana launchpads it covers. The Migration Sniper (opens in a new tab) docs do not name pump.fun. For pump.fun, BasedBot is strongest at fast manual buys, Quick Buy and exits.
- Trojan: the Auto Sniper (opens in a new tab) filters by platform, mint and freeze authority, socials, dev wallets, liquidity and dev holdings, with a Max Snipes cap. A separate Migration Sniper buys or sells when liquidity moves from the bonding curve to the pool.
- Axiom: Pulse (opens in a new tab) monitors pump.fun tokens and shows coins near the end of their bonding curve. Migration Actions (opens in a new tab) buy a token when it migrates, or sell it. The docs still name Raydium as the destination, but pump.fun now migrates coins to PumpSwap.
- BONKbot: the Nighthawk (opens in a new tab) sniper takes a pump.fun contract address, with Precision and Speed modes. You can also paste a pump.fun link to buy, per the official site (opens in a new tab).
- Photon: Memescope (opens in a new tab) lists Pump.fun and Moonshot tokens with filters for bonding progress, top 10 holders, socials and dev holding. It is a discovery feed with fast buys, not an auto-sniper.
- Padre (Terminal): Trenches is a view for Pump.fun tokens with advanced filters, per our Padre review. Pump.fun owns the terminal since October 2025.
- GMGN: Migrated Snipe (opens in a new tab) auto-buys a Solana token when the DEX adds official liquidity. You create one task per token, before migration.
Snipers on pump.fun compete with bundling creators and dev wallets that buy in the first block. For the risks and the bot comparison beyond pump.fun, see our best sniper bots.
How to choose a pump.fun bot
1. Total fee per trade
On the bonding curve you pay pump.fun's 1.25% and the bot's fee on every buy and every sell. BasedBot, Trojan, BONKbot, Photon and GMGN charge 1%. Axiom (opens in a new tab) charges 0.95% at the entry tier, down to 0.75%. Padre does not publish its base fee. Cashback lowers the bot fee: 10–50% on BasedBot with our link, paid in SOL on Solana (rewards docs (opens in a new tab)), and 20% on the Trojan bot. Run your numbers in the fee calculator and compare codes on the BasedBot referral code, Trojan referral code, Axiom referral code and GMGN referral code pages.
2. Key export
If you can export the private key, you can move your funds even if the tool goes down. The BasedBot web app has an Export Key (opens in a new tab) button. Trojan and BONKbot allow key export, BONKbot with 2FA. Axiom lets you view your seed phrase, and Padre's docs tell you to export your keys before you deposit. Photon shows the key only once, at wallet creation. GMGN's wallet docs (opens in a new tab) say key export is prohibited.
3. Telegram bot or web terminal
A Telegram bot is fastest when you get a contract address in a chat and want to buy from your phone. A web terminal is better to scan many new pump.fun coins on charts. BasedBot, Trojan and GMGN give you both. Axiom and Photon are web only, and BONKbot is a Telegram bot. Compare terminals on our best memecoin trading platforms list and in Axiom vs Photon.
4. What happens when the meta leaves pump.fun
Memecoin activity moves between launchpads and chains. If you trade only pump.fun, any of the seven works. If you also want Base or BNB Chain launches, a multi-chain tool saves you a new app and a new wallet each time.
When the meta moves to Base or BNB Chain
BasedBot's supported networks page (opens in a new tab) lists 16 networks. On Solana it lists Pump.Fun / PumpSwap, Raydium, Meteora and Jupiter among its routes. On Base and BNB Chain it lists launchpads such as Clanker, Zora, Flaunch, Virtuals, Four.Meme and Flap. You paste a Base or BNB Chain address into the same bot, and it detects the chain.
- Move funds: /bridge moves native currency from one chain to another, for example from SOL to ETH on Base (bridge docs (opens in a new tab)).
- Find new launches: the live channels (opens in a new tab) post new tokens from Clanker, Flaunch, Virtuals and Four.Meme with a fast-buy button.
- Snipe on EVM: the classic Sniper buys a token as soon as its pool is created on EVM chains, and MEV protection is available on Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain.
Padre covers Base and BNB Chain too, and GMGN has official bots for Base and BNB Chain. Trojan, BONKbot and Photon stay on Solana. For a full multi-chain comparison, see best crypto trading bots and BasedBot vs Trojan.
Trade pump.fun and Base launches with BasedBot (opens in a new tab)Safety with pump.fun bots
The safety record of each tool is in its review. On this list, GMGN had an October 2025 BNB Chain MEV incident that hit 729 trades (users were reimbursed), and an investigator alleged in February 2026 that Axiom staff looked up user wallets.
